Who it's for
For engineers who own what they ship.
Maybe there's no ops team. Maybe there is one, and your uptime alerting is still a load-balancer alarm that emails a list nobody reads. Either way, when it breaks, you get the call. Add a URL, pick where alerts go, and get back to work.

In beta
In beta, and honest about it.
It has run in production for months and has already alerted on real production incidents for the sites it watches. It's still in beta: we're fixing rough edges and deciding what to build next, and we want to hear what's missing.
Pricing
Free while in beta.
Every feature, no credit card. Paid plans come after the beta.

We already have CloudWatch alarms (or Pingdom). Why add this?
You don't have to switch to find out. Add the same URLs and run both for a week. A load-balancer alarm tells you the load balancer is up. This checks the URL your customers hit, from outside your cloud, and alerts in Slack when it's slow as well as when it's down.
It's a beta. Can I rely on it?
It has run in production for months and has caught real incidents for the sites it monitors. It's in beta because we're still improving it, and we say so. There's nothing to install, so leaving means deleting a URL.
What doesn't it do yet?
Checks run every 60 seconds from three European regions. There are no team accounts, public status pages for your services, webhooks or SMS alerts yet. If one of those is a deal-breaker, tell us. That's exactly the feedback we're looking for.
Can it check internal services?
Not yet. Checks run from public probes, so they reach anything your customers can reach.
Where do the checks run from?
Frankfurt, London and Zurich. superping I/O is built and run by create DNA GmbH in Germany.
What happens when the beta ends?
Paid plans come after the beta. Until then everything is free, with no credit card.
